  @Think - So are you able to just trade stocks for a few hours a day, and make a enough to live on or do you work too?

  I'm an Operations Mgr in the oil industry. My schedule is work 7 days, then I'm off 7 days. So counting vacation time....I only work less than 6 months a year. I'm in a position where I can do some stock trading throughout the day, even when I work.

  I must say you're quite brave for shorting with the FED pump going, but I have recently thought about shorting again too.

  I'm a trader. There is money to be made trading both sides of the market. Today has been a good day to be short, therefore I have sold some profitable positions today. I will buy those shorts back if the market goes back up. I also took some small long positions as insurance, and will sell them if the market bounces back up. My main game plan is to make money trading daily if I can, but to ensure that capitol is protected from a major drop at all costs. The higher this market goes the bigger short position I will take, and wait to see what happens.

  this is the full crash that wasn't showed on the news.. they referenced it on national news but didn't show whole clip.. if you already have fear of flying etc.

  I second this as an idiotic comment. Whatever your politics are about Afghanistan......those killed in this horrific jet crash were probably just doing their job, duty, or whatever they called their service over there and not "playing war".

  What are your thoughts......

  I also agree that the Fed has been propping up the market with QE money. How long until that bubble will bust no one knows. I hate giving others financial advice, but I will throw a few questions out there to consider.

  Just ask yourself how much higher you think the current market will go, and are you willing to risk what you currently have to gain that extra percentage? Think who will position themselves to gain the most if the market continues to rise, verses who will position themselves to gain the most if the market tanks again? What do you wish you would have done right before the last time the market was at an all time high?

  Disclaimer: I went heavily short in early 2008. Currently, I have been buying the dips and selling the spikes, while building a heavy short 3X ETF position again.

  i was just reading the thread on the secret disfellowshipping of the menlo park elders.

  obviously the society didn't want the bad press and was hoping to sweep it under the carpet that is why it was secret and the defendants weren't there.

  to me this is not only unfair but totally bizarre and weird.how can some one be disfellowshiped and yet not know that they are disfellowshiped.

  I really don't know the details of all this AAWA stuff, so I don't say too much in case I'm mis-informed. I think I have read that the AAWA group added many people to their organization without their consent, and because of this some faders were outed to the JW's as having some kind of connection with this group. After that, I think it took awhile for AAWA to take responsibility and try to rectify the privacy situation.

  I do have some advise concerning "Operation: Give the Watchtower the Finger". AAWA.....think before you do stuff like this. I've got no problem with the individual X-JW doing this kind of stuff, or posting this kind of stuff, or whatever.(short of violent actions) The difference is you are now suppose to be a professional organization.

  Earlier, I read the story about Bo Jensen on AAWA, and he does have a legitimite reason to personally feel this way about the Watchtower Society. However, his now being a leader in AAWA makes this look very unprofessional. Mr. Jensen sounds like a very bright, professional, articulate guy, so I'm sure he'll think this middle finger thing over, and do what's needed in order to give their organization more credibility and class in the eyes of those whom they want to represent to the Watchtower Society.

  new july 2013 awake says this on page 3:.

  "there is a 14 percent greater probability that a person over 60 years of age will die on his birthday rather than on other days.".

  wow, they have now proven that birthdays are pagan and not fit for christians!.
